Sat 10/2: Kansas State football. Had problems in the AM with cable-- JW came over and recrimped several connections and made adjustments to the distribution amps. Rest of football game went fine. Took time to write down a schedule of things I do on game days. Stayed to help tear down Hagner press conference. Jason gave me a ride home.

Worked through the AM and tried to set up BFMEM drawing. We have errors in the current drawing Jim Culver says he is making me a new one.

Fall Review, Will Schrank says Col Drost ordered 100 btls water, Col Groves told BB he didn't need any, we found some at last minute. Review started early for some reason.?

Jen sick tonight, going home at 7:20.

Jen sick this morning, and James home from school. Worked on AV stuf in the am, crunched numbers for BFMEM diagram, and tried to layer them into the drawing. Need to start over and measure from corners of street to IP.

Projector demo, 6000 NEC DLP projector, would not run HD BNC in, (card cost an additional 500, and they did not stock one. Will they come back? Hmmmm.

QB club and then home, go get JW at Hapes. Sleep, and tomorrow will be review setup. Just chairs, scaff and speakers. Nate on sound

Jay gave me meedio. Need to install at home and check it out. When can I afford a $100 hard drive?

Buy beer on the way home.

Email DW re blogger and job search. Not a lot but might be cool to apply at Binghamton. CAn I spend time on that tonight? Probably not, since cleaning seems to be important given the window situation.

Several funny emails. McSweeneys is on FIRE. Still need to send Jen the... sent the JT thingy. Call Blair soon.

BF site survey in depth 11-1:30, remember that tripods are different for level and transit.

Wallis from verizon says that there are no phone lines in our site area for BFMEM.

Teleconference:
Gray BNC cable in 301B goes to BNC input on projector. Gray XLR goes to mixer, then to mic jack then to room mixer then to speakers. Should get KAMU bars, should switch to another signal when the "program test" has started. In our case, test at 3:30 should have switched to U of Tenn. but did not. BB called KAMU and got it going. Setup phone so that they may call KAMU if problems. Leave KAMU contact number, ALWAYS verify or at least inform KAMU that you have a signal from them. Best to stay and make sure that everything is cool.

Started Phone List / Patch project and need to tie this into AV room diagrams and descriptions. Also, need to come up with a list of patch locations and compare with billy's master phone list.

DIAL 9951 to check numbers.

Note under my door says that the forum outer door was left unlocked last night. CW locked it. Also hallway door to outside not closed, but that is probably our guys coming and going from the theatre.

Worked on organizational stuff all day. Took a break to help the guys rehang the Aud, they went on to pull rope in the Theatre in the afternoon, but I stayed in the office. Wonder why I wasn't invited?? Got desktop cleared off and office cleaned up a little. Need to make more progress tomorrow in terms of filing and computer consolidation. Can we get this Axim decision made and off my back tomorrow? Nanowrimo is coming. Need to spend some time each day warming up. Axim would be good to have. I wonder what the speed of write is in Axim world.

Redid msc 212-231 drawing, redie 12thman buffet drawing
More research into Axim. Need to look closely at PocketCAD, database capabilities.
Make decision this week.
Sorted files and pictures.

Foreigner load out. Went smoothly, came in about 9 and left around 1:30a. Interesting that their truck pack was in the form of an Autocad drawing (or something like it). I wonder if there is truck software? More importantly, how could it relate to three dimensions, and what would you have to do to get measurements for everything? The computer says it will fit, why won't it fit?
Also thought up the idea for a yankee ratchet. Brain says there may be something in this but I don't know.

Need to address the issue of broken genie supports before next show. Plus, how to go back through posts and collect a list of things to do?

Also, need to find out about blogger post templates, or forms.
