Friday- worked all day on JCAP banquet at Duncan. At 8 BB was on a tear, and we got PC rolling for a dedication at Cain bldg. JR on sound, needed aobut 8 trips to get everything. Cops stopped AM, student workers hanging out of back of truck. Cops will write tickets for people in back of vehicles. Creates a real problem for our operations. Went to reed and got stuff (remember to leave 6' Z frames behind). Built Duncan gig, dressed it until 4:30. Back at 5:30, they fed us (lunch and dinner) and everything went smooth. Readin names for JCAP scholarships took FOREVER, recipients decided to sit and chat. Astronaut Fossum spoke, it was pretty cool. Stayed until 12:30p got ride home with Jen.

Worked on Big Book, next time consider setting up for Pat's printer. I finally got it rolling around 2pm and it printed 54 pages in 2.5 hrs.
Got a new AV book made.
Michelle Rojas came by-- FOSherida, and we gave her the quick AV rundown. She will probably come back tomorrow and get on the AV payroll.
Looked for voters guide.
Need to crank hard on Cornell resume. Do that tonight.

AM- worked on Big Book Template for Julie. Problems with printer. Replaced C print head and aligned.
Becky SWDB not working correctly-- when I changed and saved it, now she needs a reference to an OWC dll that I apparently have.
Let Jason Milliken go-- he says he does not have a key, and I think that is correct.
He asked if he should come in tomorrow, and I told him not to. I told him if he wanted to come in and discuss the decision, I would talk with him about it. I also told him that if next sememster he felt as though he could meet the requirements better, we should talk. Basically, the decision is a reliability issue. I understand that he was injured shortly after his arrival to work here, and that he lost a number of days because he was on meds. After being asked to call if he was not coming in, he missed three shifts, and did not return my calls for several days.
On Friday he was late 45 minutes. I asked him to talk to me before he left, and I was gone when he left for the day. He missed a shift on Sunday and asked Daniel to work for him-- told Daniel that I knew about it. I had a note from him that said he'd be back late Sat or Early Sun. 1) can't call and change shifts without talking to BB or me.

Totally burned out from the weekend. Sat and Sun worked 36 hours between PHILSA and Caedmon's Call. Struck set at Simpson for bands. Strike and Reed drop for GRW went great. Mike? proctor dude at GRW got bent about BB using Grad Student ofc for production office. Denny and Gary were cool to work with. Need to work on my ability to listen silently and thoughtfully. Who is Heather associated with Phi Beta Phi? Worked with lift guy and helped put away shell bases.
