How many days between today and my last post? It will be interesting to see what the last thought was before we went into Bonfire memorial mode. It is now December 9, and we leave for vacation this weekend. I have not heard from Cornell, and I have detected that they did not call my references, so I think that is the end of the ballgame. No matter, there are other jobs that will work.

Cleaned out my office (or started, anyway). I feel the need to get my home stuff home, and concentrate on work stuff for a while. Here's a list of things that I would have had to do on the hurry-up offense if I had got the job.

Need to re-prioritize for 2005 and determine what new job search angles I need to take.
